Patna Metro
Bihar's first metro — the new Blue Line takes its first stretch.
Please pick two different stations.
Patna Metro marks a milestone as the first metro system in Bihar, with its opening stretch on the Blue Line beginning service in October 2025. Built by PMRCL with Delhi Metro handling operations, this first elevated section links Bhootnath, Zero Mile and the Patliputra Bus Terminal (New ISBT) in the east of the city. It's an early but significant step: as the network grows, the Blue Line will run underground into the heart of Patna toward Patna Junction, and a second Red Line will follow — but Bihar's capital is now firmly on India's metro map.
