Chennai Metro
Two lines linking the airport, Central and the city — fast and direct.
Please pick two different stations.
Chennai Metro, run by CMRL, gives Tamil Nadu's capital a fast, modern spine through a city long dependent on buses and suburban trains. Its Blue Line runs the length of the city from Wimco Nagar in the north down through Chennai Central and out to the international airport, mixing underground and elevated sections. The Green Line loops west through Egmore, Anna Nagar and the Koyambedu transit hub before meeting the Blue Line again at Alandur. With a direct metro link to the airport and to Chennai Central station, it's one of the most useful airport connections of any Indian metro.
